What is it, and why do I need it?

The DN7454 / DN7453 Editor is a program which provides control of the digital delay line / multiprocessor from an external computer. It allows the user to adjust parameters on the unit, and to save and recall settings as files within the computer. It communicates with the unit via an RS-232 or MIDI serial link. Also supplied with the editor is updated software for the unit itself.

Windows 95, 98, NT, 2000
Cable connection between serial port (COM1, 2, 3 or 4) and the device to be controlled. Or MIDI cable connection between computer and the device.
